Science has proven that exercise increases levels of serotonin in the brain and works as a natural antidepressant. So as well as keeping you physically fit, it keeps you mentally fit too. But what happens when it becomes too much? How much is too much? If we train excessively without the proper nutrition, we become susceptible to overtraining. Performance declines, fatigue sets in, the immune system weakens and we become ill. Nobody has time for time when trying to balance work and home life, especially with kids running around.
